“I contacted Green Coast Rubbish regarding having some old appliances and furniture and some garage items picked up. Eamonn the President and CEO promptly responded to my email. He setup an appointment that worked with my schedule and arrived 20 minutes early followed by one of his employees. They worked hard to remove the appliances and furniture and then started removing the items and junk from the garage.
After dropping off a truck load Eamonn returned by himself and worked very hard to remove items and junk together with my sister, my friend and me from the garage which turned out to be a huge job which I had no idea of as my father had an unbelievable amount of items and junk. Eamonn went above and beyond to cleanup the garage and with a pleasant attitude. The pickup and cleanup took almost the entire day as it was a massive undertaking. It turned out there were then also three sheds and another outside type storage area to be cleaned out.
I scheduled another appointment for them to return for more garbage and junk. Two employees came on the next scheduled appointment day and they were fantastic. They worked very hard cleaning the sheds, removing garbage and loading more furniture and items. Again, another massive undertaking that took almost the entire day.
My sister, my friend and me found Eamonn and his employees to be fantastic, hard working, very pleasant and all had a great sense of humour.
I will be using Green Coast Rubbish again. I will definitely recommend them.

“Our project to renovate the 2nd floor of our home got off to a great start when we used the services of Green Coast Rubbish this past summer. First we asked Green Coast to remove and donate and/or discard some excess furniture. When we learned that they also provide demolition services we asked Eamonn to provide a quote for a selective demo of 2 bathrooms and parts of interior walls. He provided a prompt, detailed and reasonable quote. The following week he brought a crew of 3 who worked along side him to complete the job. “Upon completing a revamp of our downtown office space, I was left with a bunch of broken down furniture and other items that needed to go “somewhere”, but clogging up the landfill was not something I wanted to happen. I contacted Eamonn at Green Coast Rubbish and was immediately impressed with his friendly and helpful attitude and his guarantee that they would be able to recycle most of the removed items. “If you are looking for prompt, professional, and courteous service to remove and recycle Recently, I cleaned out my garage, amassing a pile of junk/recyclables. Then my ancient freezer completely broke down. I turned to the Recycling Council of BC for assistance. One of the two responsible recycling companies they recommended was Green Coast Rubbish. I contacted both companies, ultimately deciding on Green Coast Rubbish. They were first to respond in a very timely manner, and subsequent communications were clear, concise, friendly, and professional. Green Coast Rubbish (Eamonn and his assistant, Michael) arrived on the date and time arranged. They introduced themselves and shook hands with me. They were both neatly dressed. One of the first things out of their truck was a trashcan, brooms and a shovel, which really impressed me, as they were obviously intent on cleaning up the remaining debris after they finished loading. Eamonn and Michael worked quickly and efficiently. The final cost to me was a bit more than the ‘sight unseen’ estimate Eamonn made – but less than I expected to pay for the volume and weight of the products being removed. It was a most excellent and positive experience. The real bonus is that they recycle, meaning a large portion of my junk will not end up in landfill.
