Cove Repurpose – the budding sister company to Green Coast Rubbish – is excited to partner with the Elements Society on their upcoming fundraiser including an online auction and trivia night. Cove Repurpose has donated two repurposed lamps to showcase waste transformed into art in the online auction which will raise funds for the Elements Society’s unique EcoCooks program.

This is your chance to bid on three unique repurposed lamps created by Eamonn Duignan, President & CEO of Cove Repurpose and Green Coast Rubbish, in the online auction which runs from Feb 19 to March 6. You can place your bid on the online auction here

One-of-a-kind lamps repurposed by Eamonn Duignan, Cove Repurpose, donated to the Elements Society online auction fundraiser.

“Cove Repurpose is delighted to be involved in the Elements Society’s online auction and fundraiser. These lamps we donated were once headed for the landfill. Instead, we have the opportunity to shift perceptions of what waste actually is by showcasing these now repurposed lamps as art and raising money for a great cause,” says Duignan.

Trivia Night for the Planet will be held on Thursday, March 6 at M!LA restaurant in Vancouver. The silent auction will close during the event at 8:45 pm, and winning bidders will be contacted shortly afterwards. Tickets are $50 per person and are available here.

The Elements Society empowers students to address climate change at school, at home and in the community. Their EcoCooks program is an environmental cooking program offered in Calgary and Vancouver that focuses on how food choices impact our planet. They also offer Zero Waste Place, an interactive program to drive sustainable behavior change in the classroom.

“This collab is a great fit for Cove Repurpose,” adds Duignan. “Two North Vancouver organizations working together locally to create a sustainable world. What could be better than that?”
