Eamon, this is a long overdue thank you for the great work you did for us. You transformed an ugly sight of mishmash fencing and scruffy greenery into something park like. By taking away the rubbish you set the scene to then limb up the towering confers, thereby letting light in. I immediately heaved a sigh of relief. You showed real attention to detail which in turn created a tranquil Japanese garden pathway, which I know was not your first intention, but was the bonus!

I loved dealing with Eamonn & Green Coast Rubbish. I was cleaning out my garage, and wanted an eco-friendly way of disposing of old computers and electronic equipment, and found Green Coast Rubbish. They responded promptly to my request, were timely, affordable, and Eamonn let me know that the hard drives would be “wiped” (i.e. erased) and then environmentally disposed of. As the Canadian Project Manager for BCBG Maxazria Group I build all our retail locations throughout Canada and have encountered many different types of sub trades. I have had many a experience with sub’s that are not willing to work past their union hours, complain when asked to do something out of their required contract or just merely help their client out. With that said, I had the privilege of being introduced to Green Coast Rubbish at Metropolis Metro Center in Burnaby, BC in November of 2008. Owner Eamonn Duignan and his brother Cein were professional, courteous and extremely efficient hard workers. They never complained, went out of their way to assist me and my superintendent and were respectful of all the non-construction staff on site. It is with the greatest of pleasure that I write about the company Green Coast Rubbish and in particular about Eamonn as to the efficient and expeditious manner in which the removal of my demolition/renovation rubbish was handled. Originally called to remove the demolition rubbish, I quickly realized that this young man was capable and eager to complete the gutting of the remainder of my condo. Not only did he arrive on the date and at the set time, but his polite manner was only exceeded by his diligent hard work. In this day and age of negligent and often unreserved insolence on the part of many workers it was refreshing to deal with someone with an ethical, positive, and hard working attitude. Subsequently, I asked him to return on two other occasions.

A property I recently took over had junk scattered in the 36″ high crawl space which was left from the previous owner. I called around looking for someone to not only clean it out but also haul it away for me. Not only was Green Coast Rubbish available and willing to do this job, they were the ONLY one out of a handful of companies willing to clean out the crawl space. Apparently this is a job that nobody likes to do, yet Green Coast Rubbish was willing to tackle it. They showed up on time, cleaned out my crawl space and hauled the junk away for environmentally friendly disposal of the various materials pulled out. At the time my crawl didn’t have lighting (a flashlight was used) and I don’t think that anyone had been in it in several years – not a place anyone wants to be.
